The abstracts will be published in the ConScienS Book of Abstracts with ISBN 978-1-945298-39-4. Authors also have the option to present their research at the conference without publishing their abstract (Publishing is optional).
The abstract must be in English and it must be written in .doc or .docx format. The Abstract should be brief, indicating the purpose/significance of the research and must be between 150-250 words. Complete sentences, active verbs, and the third person should be used. Within one week of receiving your proposal/abstract, we will send you an email notification of acceptance or rejection. Please download the Abstract Template.
Each presentation, made by one or more speakers, should be no longer than 15 minutes, afterward, we will have around five minutes for questions and answers. We recommend delivering a PowerPoint presentation of your research work on the conference day.
Virtual authors whose abstracts are accepted must prepare the content for the presentation itself in one of these following ways:
- Recording a video of the presentation (mp4 or any other multimedia file)
- Creating a PowerPoint presentation with slides and a voice-over
- Giving your virtual presentation live, via Zoom
For the live Zoom Presentation, you should ensure that you have a device with Internet connection, audio (from computer speakers, microphone, or via telephone), and a webcam (standalone or integrated with your monitor/laptop). Registered virtual authors will receive through email a certificate of participation/contribution and their abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts.
